[A]厚甲龙（Ostrich
reptile--鸵鸟般的蜥蜴）比大部分具重甲的恐龙小，但身上 有几种不同的护甲。在劲部四周有坚硬的甲片，小骨质脊突覆盖着背部和尾部，身体两侧有尖刺保护着。它生活在白垩纪晚期的欧洲，在那里发现了它的头骨化石
碎片，颅骨以及甲片。
